Monday 11th March 2024 7:30-9pm online via Zoom. You will receive the zoom link 24 hours prior to the training. On completion, you will receive a certificate of participation and a copy of the presentation. 

 

Our course for primary school teachers & SNA’s that has been thoughtfully put together to help you understand neurodiversity, the neurodiverse students in your classroom and how you can support them to help them reach their best potential at school every day.

You will learn and understand simple but effective tools to achieve a calm and understanding classroom environment to nurture the neurodiverse mind and support their individual learning styles.

You will learn about the power of sensory play and how it helps to manage challenging behaviours within the classroom. How to make play safe for neurodiverse students and a toolbox to draw from when needed.

We will discuss bullying, mental health in neurodiverse students, the correct language to use and how and why your support continues beyond the classroom with neurodiverse students.

The neurodiverse mind has to be understood before you can truly support your students and their families effectively in their primary school journey.
