Neurodiversity Training Day 2024

Join us for an incredible day of specialised, CPD accredited, Neurodiversity training for

principals, mainstream teachers, SNA’s, SET’s, SENO’s, early years educators and parents on

Tuesday 29th October 2024 at The Amber Springs Hotel, Gorey, Co. Wexford

from 9am – 5.30pm.

We have brought together specialists from different areas of neurodiversity and wellbeing from all over Ireland to help and enable you to understand, support and nurture your neurodivergent students throughout their years in education to the best of your ability.

Currently, the education framework does not support or give educators the tools or knowledge to allow neurodivergent students to thrive in education settings, nor does it require teachers to have adequate neurodiversity training to support their students.

We want to change that for families and for yourselves by offering you the opportunity  to learn about the one in four students who are neurodiverse in Ireland and empower you with knowledge to truly understand and support the children that come into your classrooms.

We will be breaking down barriers that you face and giving you lifelong tools and education that will help you throughout your career.

Our Neurodiversity training Day has been thoughtfully put together to cover the areas that continue to come up in parent and teacher surveys regarding education and neurodiverse students – including understanding behaviours of concern, sensory supports in the classroom, visual supports, Dyslexia, managing anxiety & school refusal in neurodiverse students & looking at overwhelm and expectations in educators.

The Neurodiversity Training Day includes 6 hours of CPD training and workshops hosted by some of Ireland’s most well respected trainers in their fields.

Some of our experts;

Amy Winter – Little Kneaders – Sensory Supports & Sensory Play in the classroom.

Jeanette Delahunty – TSK Academy – Behaviours of concern & PDA.
