Sensory Santa
Our annual Sensory Santa event takes place at The Talbot Hotel, Wexford Town for two days in December.
A supportive, understanding and nurturing environment for neurodiverse children and their families to enjoy visiting Santa.
We provide a large room full of sensory supports, toys and equipment to explore, play and regulate with before going in to meet Santa in a separate low stimulation room, with plenty of space for children to run and move in. A further area is also available if children/adults need to step out of the sensory room for some quiet time.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that there are absolutely no expectations for children to sit with Santa or to go in at a specific time during your 50-minute time slot. Everything is very relaxed, and our Santa is specially trained to support and communicate with all children, including preverbal. We do not rush your time with Santa and children may visit him more than once if needed. Once you are finished visiting Santa you go back into the sensory room to continue playing for the remainder of your time slot.
Our standard 50-minute sessions can accommodate up to 15 families, our quiet sessions have no more than 8 families in them for a reduced sensory environment.
All children receive a small sensory gift or tin of Little Kneaders dough.
Tickets cost €35 per family of 4, additional child tickets cost €14.99. Tickets go on sale to the general public on the 1st September each year.
School/Group Visits
We accommodate school and group visits to our Sensory Santa event from 10am – 1pm during event dates. Tickets cost €15 per child. Please email us at events@littlekneaders.com to arrange your booking.
Please note payment is taken at the time of booking via invoice and your booking is only confirmed once payment is received.
Cancellation policy
- All ticket purchases are subject to our cancellation policy. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances and are only able to offer alternative time/day slots if there are any available. You agree to this cancellation policy at the time of purchase.

How long is our visit?
Your booking is for a 50 minute time slot. You able to stay and play for the duration of those 50 minutes.
Is there parking available?
Yes, the Talbot Hotel have two car parks available. Please note it is pay and display parking.
Cancellation Policy
Once your booking is received we do not offer refunds. We will try to accommodate time/day/name changes to your booking but this is not guaranteed if all other time slots are full.
Can we visit Santa more than once?
If your child in unable to visit Santa when you are called in, we can try again later on in your time slot. We try to be as flexible as possible with visiting Santa.
