Neurodiversity CPD Training Days
Neurodiversity CPD Training Days
Our annual Neurodiversity CPD Training Days for educators, SNA’s, parents, SENO’s, residential and service staff are held around the country to support neurodiverse children within education.
Hailed as “One of the best events I have ever been to. Just WOW!” and “This is a training day all educators should have to attend every year.” by attendees at previous events.
The Neurodiversity CPD Training Days are full day events covering areas of neurodiversity that are not covered in standard teacher training. We aim to provide a deep dive into selective training areas to provide you with clarity and further understanding of your neurodiverse students.
You will come away with every day tools to use within your homes or classrooms to support and nurture the overall wellbeing of your neurodiverse students.
Some of our training areas include;
- PDA
- ADHD
- Neurodiverse Burnout
- School Refusal
- Dyslexia
- AAC Devices
- Language processing
- Understanding behaviours & the sensory systems for Early Years Educators
- Visual Supports
Our training days run from 9am – 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday’s throughout the year so that we do not disrupt neurodiverse children’s school day by having substitute teachers or staff.
All training is CPD accredited with certificates available.
Lunch, tea & coffee is provided with your ticket. Dietary alternatives can be catered for at all of our events.
Feedback from previous events
‘Understanding how school can feel from an autistic child’s perspective was invaluable to me, as a secondary school principal. I gained a wealth of knowledge in a matter of hours and will be able to support our autistic pupils better as a result. A fantastic day that all school, teachers and SNA’s should attend in the future.”
“…You are making the educational environment and the home environment a better, more supportive environment for so many individuals. Thank you so much.”
“It’s hard to put into words what yesterday’s CPD Training Day organised by Amy from Little Kneaders was like. From start to finish we were given the opportunity to be taught by some amazing people. Amy herself is a wealth of knowledge and is always developing new ways to create an environment for neurodiverse indivudals to flourish and embrace themselves.”
“Still absolutely mind blown by a massive conference room full of teachers, SNA’s, EYE’s and tutors all willing to learn about and help neurodivergent children! The fact that most speakers are neurodivergent themselves, have amazing successful businesses and were so open to chats afterwards was just so uplifting! 100% day of positivity.”
